Here's the first edition of the blog for this week. Already good stuff is shaping up. Thomas Marriott, Cuong Vu and friends will do a Miles Davis birthday tribute show at Tula's, which promises to be a great show. They will do some of the later psychedelic and fusion Miles as well as some of the bebop and cool faves. And there is a new world music band on the scene called "Terana" (Persian for "song") that is appearing on Monday at Folklife that I think will be really good also. And Correo Arreo, Larry Barilleau's Latin Jazz Collective CD Release, and more...I'll try to get a Thursday update out too.
