The blog is out for this weekend through next Tuesday. As usual too many excellent shows to mention in the blurb, so PLEASE read the
blog to find the shows you most want to attend. If there is world music/jazz being played by Seattle -area musicians and I have been
missing them in the listings, please put me in the loop by making an FB event and inviting me, and I will get them on there. World and
jazz music can only continue if audiences are coming out and supporting the artists and the venues that have these kinds of music. In
particular, world musicians tend to play at venues where the owners strongly believe in the music, so buy drinks and food while you
are at the venue. I think many people don't realize how important it is to support the venues with patronage. A constant problem we
face is the places we love to play closing down because food and drink sales have not supported the music. Paratii, The Tiny Ninja,
the Seattle Mobile Espresso, The old Gypsy Cafe, and countless other gems have had to close their doors in the face of the brutal
business atmosphere for small clubs. So please show your support for not only the bands, but the venues we play at too.
