Hey Everyone
Still trying to find the right balance that presents the shows and doesn't use up a lot of time to post. Here's this weekend's Yogis Music World gigs list. Click to see the FB page for each event. Support local jazz/world music. Audience attendance builds the scene. You probably think musicians are making the scene. You would be wrong. Whether or not people go to shows determines whether the scene survives. Many of us have been to or lived in cities where people go out frequently in search of music they like. It's a totally different city from one where everyone sits at home with their TV and games. Many of you have had this conversation with your music buddies many times before. Well - do something about it - GO TO A SHOW. Hell, you might even enjoy yourself- imagine that! If you are a musician, try going to someone else's show for a change. You'll be surprised and refreshed by the experience. It will actually help your creativity. No kidding!

Azul Thursdays @ The Blue Martini
