Mo' great stuff, as always! This week you can go to the Eastside Jazz Club's annual extravaganza, attend an intimate house concert with a world-renowned Indian sitarist, throw down with some hot R&B funk at the Royal Room and Hwy 99 club, get your samba jazz on, or chill on a jazz cruise. If this is any sign, we're in for a fall season of great performances from our Seattle world and jazz community of musicians!

The Eastside Jazz Club will present their Annual Jazz Extravaganza concert Number 9. The event will feature the fabulous Susan Pascal and her Brazil Project who will perform an exciting repertoire of music from Brazil, with Susan on vibes and featuring percussionist Jeff Busch, with Bill Anschell, piano, and Chuck Deardorf, bass.

There will be a VERY special concert of Indian Classical music at my house this coming Sunday (Sept 22) featuring renowned sitarist Indrajit Bannerjee, visiting from Chicago where he currently teaches. He usually plays concert halls and festivals, so having him at my house with 30 of you guys - my music friends - is REALLY A TREAT.
