Seattle is in full swing with many great world and jazz gigs for you this week. A unique fundraiser for the women and children of Syria, featuring some of Seattle's top Middle-eastern musicians and belly dancers; Jovino and Correo Aereo willteam up at the royal room Thurs, followed by Doug Beaver/Thomas Marriott/Carlos Cascante for your Latino music and dance hit on Sunday. The usual great jam sessions at the Tiny Ninja and the Owl n Thistle, and Seattle hot new reggae groove band, Kore Ionz, in a special show at Nectar. All the more reason to get thyself out and shake thy booty at the gig of your choice!

Fundraiser to benefit the wounded Children of Syria.

A fundraiser show featuring Zaphara , Rebecca Polet-Uyleman , Kashmira, September, George Sadak , Bahaa Sadak, and Maurice Rouman for an evening of food ,music and dance to benefit the Syrian woman and children. As well as money, you can donate blankets, toys, etc for the children. This is not a big charity org thing, just donating for Rita Zawaideh of the Salaam Cultural Museum who travels regularly to Syria to bring stuff to distribute to the women and children whose lives have been adversely affected by the war.
